Autism Linked To Pollution

The Center for Disease Control reports that one of every 88 babies born in the U.S. has or will develop autism. That is a shocking number to be sure, particularly when you consider that it is up 23-percent over the past 3 years and up an alarming 78-percent since 2007. So, what’s to blame for the rapid increase in autism cases?

Experts previously maintained that autism stemmed mostly from genetic factors. However, recent studies have shown that enivronmental factors, such as pollution, which exposes developing infants to chemicals and heavy metals, must share the blame.
